Covenant Life Church was established in 2003 with the aid and assistance of Faith Covenant Ministries Apostolic Team. It was founded by Rev. Dave Dawson and the Abundant Life Church Family. During the pioneering stages, Rev. Leon Schaub took over as senior pastor. Since then Covenant Life Church has been teaming with Faith Covenant Ministries to fulfill the vision, “To aid and assist in the training and equipping of believers to reach their full potential and fulfill their destiny.”

 Pastor Leon is a three year graduate of S.M.T.I. (Supernatural Ministries Training Institute) of Midland, MI. He is also a graduate of Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas Texas. Upon graduation, he served as an Associate Pastor of Leelanau Community Church in Lake Leelanau, Michigan, where he ministered and emphasized the importance of an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. He now is an ordained minister of Faith Covenant Ministries.

Pastor Leon came to Cherry Hill, New Jersey to pioneer a work and took over as senior pastor of Covenant Life Church in May of 2003.  He is also part of Faith Covenant Ministries Apostolic Team with the same vision to plant churches, raise up leaders and establish and strengthen churches world wide. His greatest joy is seeing the hearts of believers revived and refreshed in their relationship with Jesus Christ challenging them to live holy and serve God with a passion. His greatest desire is “to know Jesus and to make Him known.”
